The Book Thief

The Book Thief is by Markus Zusack, an Australian author.




The Book Thief is about a ten year old girl named Liesel Meminger who find a book called The Grave Diggers Handbook in the snow when she buries her younger brother along with her mother when she is going to meet her foster parents. When she lives with her foster parents, Rosa and Hans, she gets on like evrey girl living during World War 2 in germany. She steals books from Nazi book burnings, and the mayor's wife's library. But evreything changes when a Jewish man comes to live in their basement to hide.
